Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman is one of the two tritagonists (the other one being Vitruvius) in The LEGO Movie and a supporting character in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. He is Wyldstyle's ex-boyfriend and is voiced by Will Arnett. He is the main protagonist of the 2017 spinoff film The LEGO Batman Movie. He was extreme jerk. By the ending of The LEGO Batman Movie, he has realized that he needs to work with others to ensure success. He is voiced by Jim Meskimen in The LEGO Movie Videogame.
Just like most versions of Batman, Bruce Wayne lost his parents when he was really young, which made him develop fear of being part of a family again. Years later, he started fighting crime as "Batman". In The LEGO Movie universe, he was fighting crime for at least 51 years at the time The LEGO Batman Movie came out, as Alfred remembers him going through "weird phase" in 1966. He ended up with many villains to fight over the years.
Batman is depicted as egotistical and cocky jerk who always brags about himself and is dismissive of everyone around him. He is also slightly childish and his behavior can be compared to a moody emo teenager. Thanks to the death of his parents, he became afraid of forming relationships with others. However, he is still very protective of Gotham City and eventually learns to cooperate with others.
Unlike most LEGO figurines, Batman has human-like white skin and some wrinkles. He has short black hair and is depicted as muscular.
Batman wears black latex suit with black and yellow bat logo on his chest, yellow utility belt black cape and black cowl with two long, pointy ears. In The LEGO Movie, his eyes are just white, but in The LEGO Batman Movie, they glow and have slight blue shade in them.
As Bruce WayneEdit
In The LEGO Movie, his hair are fully groomed and he wears grayish-blue suit, grayish-blue vest, white shirt and green tie.
In The LEGO Batman Movie, his hair is mostly messy (mostly due to him being shown right after his takes off his cowl), and he wears white tuxedo and black bowtie.
- He walks & builds in black or very dark gray areas.
