Lord Voldemort is a character in The LEGO Batman Movie, originally from Harry Potter. He is played by Ralph Fiennes (the voice for Alfred Pennyworth) in Harry Potter and voiced by Eddie Izzard in The LEGO Batman Movie. He was found in the Phantom Zone by The Joker and participated in the Clash of the Uber Villains. Instead of using the Killing Curse as he normally did, he often performed Wingardium Leviosa or Transfigured people into fish (presumably for The LEGO Batman Movie to be more oriented toward children).
Tom Marvolo Riddle (December 31, 1926 - May 2, 1998), later and better known as Lord Voldemort, was a half-blood wizard who was considered to have been the most powerful and dangerous Dark Wizard of all time. The son of the wealthy Muggle, Tom Riddle Senior, and the witch, Merope Gaunt, he was orphaned and raised in a Muggle orphanage, which remained his permanent residence throughout his 1938-1945 attendance of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was a member of Slytherin House.
His accomplishments include the opening of Salazar Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets and the use of its basilisk to attack Muggle-born students, several months' service as a purchasing agent for the Dark artifacts shop Borgin and Burkes, the ability to speak Parseltongue (which enables you to fluently communicate with snakes), and the attainment of immortality between the years of 1942 and 1998, a process begun upon the creation of his first Horcrux at the age of 16. Splitting his own spirit into a total of eight fragments, Voldemort created seven Horcruxes; one unintentionally and without his knowledge-Harry Potter. Abandoning his "Muggle name", he became the self-proclaimed Lord Voldemort, which was an anagram of his birth name. He commanded a veritable army of Dark wizards and creatures called Death Eaters, which committed numerous murders, but Voldemort did not hesitate to kill others himself. On one occasion in 1997, he tried and succeeded the second time in installing a puppet Minister of Magic named Pius Thicknesse. Because of this, he seized control of the Ministry, and his ally Dolores Umbridge persecuted many innocent witches and wizards who were born to Muggle parents.
Voldemort was ripped from his body in 1981, after attempting to kill Harry Potter, and though unable to die, was not able to regain a permanent and physical body until 1995, thus spending the intervening 14 years "a shell, less than the meanest ghost," but alive. He was killed by his own backfiring curse, after Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger destroyed all of his Horcruxes.
Riddle's broken soul is held in Limbo and will be for all eternity, unable to move on to the afterlife or return as a ghost.
Unknown to most, however, he had a daughter named Delphini with Bellatrix Lestrange. Delphi was conceived sometime after the Battle of the Department of Mysteries in 1996. She murdered Craig Bowker Jr. but was sent to Azkaban after being defeated by Harry Potter, Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy, Draco Malfoy, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.
