Raphael Bob-Waksberg (born August 17, 1984) is an American comedian, writer, producer, and actor. He is best known as the creator, showrunner, and occasional writer and actor for the Netflix original animated comedy-drama BoJack Horseman, on which he has previously worked with Will Arnett, who voices the title character, and Alison Brie, who voices another one of the series' main characters, Diane Nyugen. Bob-Waksberg is credited as the writer of the BoJack Horseman episodes S1E01 "BoJack Horseman: The BoJack Horseman Story- Chapter One"; S1E02 "BoJack Hates The Troops"; S1E03 "Prickly-Muffin"; S1E12 "Later"; the Christmas special episode "Sabrina's Christmas Wish", S2E01 "Brand New Couch"; and S3E12 "That Went Well". He was hired to do a rewrite of the script for The LEGO Movie Sequel after Phil Lord and Chris Miller had to drop out to work on their several other projects, most notably directing Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, pushing the release date of The LEGO Movie Sequel back to February 8, 2019.
